QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION:  Wachovia Corp., ASTROS (ASseT Return Obligation Securities) notes, linked to the Nikkei 225 Index, due 3/02/2010, and issued at $1000 per ASTROS. The notes will receive no payments before maturity and are not redeemable prior to maturity. At maturity the holder will receive a payment based on the percentage change in the Nikkei 225 Index, starting value 11,129.33 as of 8/26/2004. If the Index has increased, the maturity payment will be $1000 times the ending index level minus the starting index level divided by the starting index level. If the index has decreased, the index performance amount will be negative and the holder will lose some of their principal, subject to the minimum payment amount at maturity of $900 per note. The notes are senior unsecured debt obligations of Wachovia Corp.
