QUANTUMONLINE.COM SECURITY DESCRIPTION: Bank of America Corp., Market-Linked Step Up Notes linked to the Russell 2000 Index, due 10/28/2011, and issued at $10 per unit. The notes will make no payments before maturity, are not redeemable prior to maturity, and make no guarantee of the return of principal at maturity. At maturity the holder will receive a payment based on the change in the Russell 2000 Index, starting value 566.36 as of 10/28/2009. If the Index is unchanged or has increased on the calculation day of 10/21/2011 but does not exceed the step up value of 719.28, the maturity payment will be 127% of the initial offering price or $12.70 per unit. If the ending value of the Index is greater than the step up value, the maturity payment will be $10 plus $10 times the index's percentage increase. If the ending value of the Index is less than its starting value, the maturity payment will be $10 minus $10 times the index's percentage decrease. As a result, the maturity payment may be less, and possibly significantly less, than the $10 offering price with up to 100% of the principal at risk.
