January 11, 2007 -- U.S. Bank Trust National Association, as Trustee, under the Base Trust Agreement dated as of December 15, 2000, as supplemented by the CorTS Supplement 2001-28 dated as of August 31, 2001, with Structured Products Corp. and the Trustee, has received notice that the Call Warrant Holder has exercised its right to purchase the term assets of the trust on January 26, 2007. THE EXERCISE OF THE CALL WARRANTS IS CONDITIONAL UPON RECEIPT BY THE TRUSTEE OF THE WARRANT EXERCISE PURCHASE PRICE WITH RESPECT TO SUCH EXERCISE ON THE REDEMPTION DATE. The underlying securities of the CorTS Trust are the 7.7% Capital Securities, Series B due 12/31/2026 issued by BankAmerica Institutional Capital B and guaranteed by Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC).
