FUND DESCRIPTION: Wells Fargo Income Opportunities Fund, formerly Wells Fargo Advantage Income Opportunities Fund, formerly Evergreen Income Advantage Fund, is an exchange-traded closed-end fund or a closed-end ETF that is officially described as a diversified, closed-end management investment company. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Wells Fargo Income Opportunities Fund seeks a high level of current income. The Fund may, as a secondary objective, also seek capital appreciation to the extent consistent with its investment objective. FUND STRATEGY: The Fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in below investment-grade (high yield) debt securities, loans and preferred stocks, under normal market conditions. The Fund may invest in term loans. The loans are marked-to-market daily and the Fund begins earning interest when the loans are funded. The Company invests in sectors, such as utilities, financials, telecommunication services, investment companies, industrials, consumer staples and materials. FUND MANAGEMENT: Wells Fargo Funds Management LLC is the investment adviser of the Fund.
