June 1, 2006 -- Bank of America Corporation announced the redemption of its Depositary Receipt Series 7, each representing a 1/5 interest in respect of its Fixed/Adjustable Rate Cumulative Preferred Stock. The redemption date will be July 3, 2006 with a redemption price of $50 per depositary share. The quarterly dividend payment of $0.875 per depositary share will be paid on July 3 to record holders of June 15, 2006.
