Morgan Chase & Co. and Chase Capital IV have announced that Chase Capital IV (NYSE: CMV) will redeem on November 10, 2003 all 14 million shares of Chase Capital IV's $350,000,000 7.34% Capital Securities, Series D (CUSIP 16147N208) due December 6, 2027 at a redemption price equal to the aggregate Liquidation Amount of the Series D Securities plus accumulated and unpaid distributions thereon to the date of redemption.

(NYSE: JPM), redeemable at the issuer's option on or after 12/05/2002 at $25 per share plus accrued and unpaid dividends, maturing 12/06/2027, distributions of 7.34% ($1.835) per annum are paid quarterly on 3/31, 6/30, 9/30 & 12/31 to holders of record one business day prior to the payment date while the securities remain in book-entry form.
